Fantastic food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. The view from the dining room and bar is absolutely breathtaking. The Executive Chef has been here only 2 seasons, so don't be concerned about reviews prior to that. The menu is inventive, and the food is outstanding. Service is beyond wonderful. Highly recommend.

Wow, what a spot! Was passing through and found this gem with jaw-dropping views of the Nenana River Canyon through huge windows. The food? Fantastic! My halibut was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, and my buddy raved about the juicy pork tenderloin. Would definitely eat here again

For an appetizer the Reindeer and Melon Flatbread was light, fresh, and incredibly flavorful. The Pork Shanks were hearty and tasted great with the reindeer sausage. The Shrimp and Grits were the best shrimp and grits I have ever had! The grits were incredibly creamy and the shrimp tasted fresh and was seasoned to perfection. Desserts like the Coffee Cake Bread Pudding are the perfect end to the meal. **Value: 5/5** While on the pricier side, the quality of food, service, and ambiance justifies the cost. **Overall: 5/5** The Alpenglow is a must-visit if you find yourself in the area, offering an enchanting dining experience that delights and leaves a lasting impression.
I had an incredible dining experience here. The food was exactly as described, and well prepared. Service was fast, and the staff was warm and welcoming. The bartenders were also incredibly friendly. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a nice dining experience in the Denali Park area.
We just had a great dining experience. Pork chop dinner with an amazing sauce was delicious. Larry was a wonderful waiter who interacted well with our 8 year old grandson. Larry explained that the restaurant has a brand new chef and brand new menu for this season. They also have a kid's menu.

Although the Executive Chef has only been there for two seasons, don’t let older reviews deter you—this place is a gem! We ordered the salmon and the pork chop, and my husband requested a special preparation for his chop, which was accommodated with ease. Both dishes were cooked to perfection! Our server, Colin, provided attentive and professional service that truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this dining destination for an unforgettable meal!
